Email Automation | Web Development | SEO | PPC/SEM | Social Media | Graphic Design | Marketing Strategy
Timberline Ace Hardware has six locations across Colorado’s Western Slope, serving resort towns, rural communities, contractors, property managers, and DIY homeowners. Each location is deeply rooted in its community and supported by trusted local teams.
As the business grew, Timberline Ace saw the opportunity to strengthen its digital presence and build shared systems that could support all six locations more efficiently. They partnered with Mountain Mojo Group to take a foundation-first approach, prioritizing clear ownership, scalable systems, and long-term sustainability so marketing efforts could move forward with confidence.

Unifying Six Community-Rooted Hardware Stores Under One Scalable Brand.
Challenges
- Bringing six independently operated stores together under one Timberline Ace identity while preserving local trust, culture, and community connection.
- Clarifying access and ownership across digital platforms to support a true multi-location brand structure.
- Creating a consistent content engine without overloading store managers or internal teams.
- Maintaining alignment and communication across six locations without adding more meetings, emails, or back-and-forth.
- Building scalable systems that reduce dependency, support long-term growth, and allow marketing to move proactively instead of reactively.
- Establishing clear measurement and visibility across channels to support informed decision-making as the brand grows.
Solution
Mountain Mojo Group partnered with Timberline Ace to build a foundation-first marketing strategy designed to support scale, clarity, and sustainability.
Rather than starting with tactics, we focused on structure. This included securing digital access and ownership, centralizing systems, establishing repeatable content and communication workflows, and building the infrastructure required to support six locations under one brand.
From there, we layered in brand strategy, campaign execution, and integrated marketing systems across website, social, email, paid media, and local search. Every element was designed to work together, giving Timberline Ace the tools, visibility, and confidence needed to grow without sacrificing what already worked at the store level.
BRAND STRATEGY & IDENTITY
Building Systems That Scale Without Friction
Gaining Access and Ownership
Before marketing could scale, Timberline Ace needed clear access, ownership, and control of its digital ecosystem.
As the brand brought multiple locations together, digital systems reflected years of organic growth and evolving structures. Accounts existed across platforms, but ownership and permissions varied, making it difficult to operate as a true multi-location brand.
Mountain Mojo Group worked closely with the Timberline Ace team to clarify and secure access across all major platforms. This included coordinating directly with Meta support to resolve legacy account issues, working with Ace Corporate and Google to verify ownership of all Google Business Profiles, and standardizing naming conventions and permissions to support centralized management.
At the center of this work was the launch of a new unified website, built to house all six locations under one brand and scale with future growth:
https://timberlineacehardware.com
The website now serves as Timberline Ace’s digital hub, supporting local visibility, B2B engagement, content distribution, and future e-commerce behavior.
HOW WE DID IT: CREATING A STABLE DIGITAL FOUNDATION
With access and ownership clarified, Mountain Mojo Group built a consistent, scalable digital presence for each Timberline Ace location.
Each store now has:
- An active, properly owned Facebook and Instagram presence, aligned with the Timberline Ace brand, while supporting local content.
- A verified and optimized Google Business Profile, managed under a centralized structure with location-specific visibility.
- Inclusion in a unified email newsletter system, enabling consistent communication with room for local relevance.
- Support within a shared website framework, where each location maintains its local identity under one brand hub.
This ensured that every location operated from the same foundation, with the same tools, access, and visibility, rather than managing digital marketing in isolation. Looking to build a stable digital foundation? Let’s talk.
With the right systems in place, Timberline Ace moved from fragmented visibility to coordinated execution.
This foundation directly supported measurable local engagement, including strong Google Business Profile activity and increased visibility across social and web channels. More importantly, it gave the Timberline team confidence that their digital presence was stable, owned, and built to support long-term growth.
CONTENT WITHOUT OVERWHELM
Fueling Marketing Without Overloading Teams
With six locations and multiple teams involved, asking store managers, the GM, and the marketing coordinator to constantly create, review, and approve new content would have quickly become unsustainable. At the same time, marketing couldn’t afford to stall while waiting on assets from six different stores.
Instead of over-asking the client team, we took ownership of content creation from the start. Would this approach support your business structure? Book a discovery call to see how Mojo helps hardware teams scale.
Owned Content Creation
We led in-person photo and video shoots across multiple Timberline Ace locations and created a foundational set of lead magnet graphics designed to kickstart marketing across every channel.
A Scalable System
Each content capture produced a deep library of reusable assets that could be repurposed across social, website, email, paid media, and in-store touchpoints, creating momentum without constant content requests.
Sustainable Momentum
By removing content bottlenecks and supplying the team with shared, on-brand graphics, marketing was able to move forward without delays or added pressure on store leadership.
CONSISTENCY WITHOUT MORE MEETINGS
Staying Aligned Across Six Locations
As marketing expanded across six locations, alignment became just as important as execution. Store managers brought valuable local insight, but gathering that input needed to respect busy schedules.
Rather than adding meetings or email threads, Mountain Mojo Group introduced a centralized Store Manager Marketing Check-In Form. This repeatable system allows store managers to:
-
Share upcoming events or priorities.
-
Flag needs or opportunities.
-
Provide feedback on what’s working.
-
Surface local insights that inform marketing decisions.
By standardizing how information flows in, we simplified how strategy flows out. Alignment improved without adding meetings, emails, or friction.
PERFORMANCE & MOMENTUM
Growth Enabled by a Strong Foundation
With systems organized and the digital foundation in place, Timberline Ace has begun seeing early signs of increased visibility, engagement, and local discovery across key channels. These results represent the first phase of getting unified systems up and running, and they highlight the growth potential now unlocked across all six locations.
These early indicators reflect what’s possible when access, ownership, and workflows are aligned. With the foundation established and systems actively running, Timberline Ace is well-positioned to build sustained growth and momentum in the months ahead. Want results like this for your store?
